Freewill Offering Supper & Cake Walk is scheduled for Sunday, September 29th.
Mark your calendars now for this fun event!
You are invited to join us on Sunday, September 29th from 5-7 p.m. A freewill offering supper begins at 5 p.m. in the church basement, followed by the cake walk in the school gym at 6 p.m. Each round will cost $1/walk. We will have pulled pork, coleslaw, fruit, cookies, lemonade, and water. We need cakes and cupcakes (12 dozen)! Have fun, be creative, bring a couple of cakes, or feel free to buy them! Please label what kind of cake it is and if it's gluten-free. Drop off in church basement kitchen on Friday during school hours, Saturday between 5-6:30 p.m., or Sunday morning between 8-11:30 a.m., or by 4 p.m. Please sign up in the school entryway so we can plan for how many are attending, and if you are bringing cake. Everyone is invited -- bring family and friends! All money raised goes towards SPL! Any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
2018 TOUR OF TABLES & CAKE WALK
Thank you to all those who attended the SPL Tour of Tables and Cakewalk on March 2nd. Thanks to you we had another great turnout. All of the tables were so fun to look at -- very festive and creative. Thank you for decorating -- we appreciate it! Thanks to all those who donated cakes and cupcakes -- it was fun to see the creativity and variety, and we appreciate you bringing these tasty and delicious treats! These events are a ton of fun for both kids and adults, and we hope to keep this tradition going -- please consider joining us next year! Another big thank you to the kitchen crew -- you did an awesome job helping us serve! Thank you for all your hard work in the kitchen and cleaning up! Thank you to all the individuals who helped organize, get ready for and run these events -- and thank you to those that helped us set up and take down, and everything in between -- to make this a successful night! We appreciate all the support, and hope you all enjoyed your evening at the Tour of Tables and Cakewalk. Thank you all!
