Outline of SPL Church Endowment Fund Proposals
*Submit project proposal starting July 1 with deadline of August 31; must have written estimate submitted with proposal to be considered; must be a Church-related proposal. *Proposals are then forwarded to SPL Church Endowment Fund Committee and to the board it impacts. *SPL Church Endowment Fund Committee will meet and review proposals and then bring their recommendation to the Board of Stewardship. *SPL Church Endowment Fund Committee will read the recommended proposals at the October Congregational Assembly meeting. *The Congregational Assembly votes on proposals at the January meeting. *Approved proposals final amounts will not be known until July 1; checks may be written when work is completed and final bill is turned in. *Any advance payments must be specified in the original proposal and cannot be issued before July 1. Five percent (5%) per year of the total Endowment Fund may be distributed. (12/2017 w/rev 4-25-24) |
