St. Paul Lutheran School Reunion Memories 2015
What an awesome day Saturday, July 18, 2015 was, as hundreds of alumns and their families from the early 1930s to 2015 graduates returned to celebrate 120 years of Lutheran education and 50 years in our present building. Thanks to everyone who was there, for the hugs, the stories told, the donations you gave while we remembered the blessings we received with our Christian education. We hope it won't be so long before the next reunion occurs.
Did you turn in a family picture for our DVD of memories? When it was first shown at the reunion, the room was so quiet, you would have thought a test was being given. There were so many pictures to see from the very beginning of our school through today, class pictures from so many different years, pictures of activities many of us participated in, and so many more pictures of the families who are St. Paul Lutheran School alumni. Thanks to so many of you who turned in pictures and memories to share.
The reunion committee's goal is to have the DVD of Memories ready to send out by August 1st, God-willing. The money earned will help our school. If you haven't ordered the DVD of Memories yet, please send a $10 check made out to SPL All-School Reunion, to Greg & Nancy Gellert, 2104 Stade Lane, Fairmont, MN 56031. You'll be so glad you did!
Thank you to the Reunion Committee who spent so much time getting things ready for us to celebrate our school. They included Barbara Fellersen, Dolores Baarts, Greg & Nancy Gellert, Jill Denton, Juleen & Neal Breitbarth, Sue Hinz, and Teresa Kiehl.
Our biggest thanks goes to the parents who sent us to St. Paul Lutheran School, the St. Paul Lutheran Church members who provide it, and especially our Heavenly Father, who has blessed us with education centered on Him. Thanks for continuing to remember our school in your prayers.
